Atlas Salvage & Towage S.A. has established its Piraeus Office in 2003, with a view to provide consulting services on maritime salvage and towage operations worldwide. On 2005, the company, as managers, has acquired its first Ocean Going Tug S/T ‘’Wizard’’. In the next two years, the company has expanded her fleet with the acquisition of two more Ocean Going Tugs S/T ‘’Captain Michalis S’’ and S/T ‘’Ocean Wrestler’’. The founding Member & Managing Director of Atlas Salvage & Towage S.A. Cpt. Dionyssios Lampridis has been actively engaged in providing practical and technical assistance to Ship-owners and Underwriters since 1982 and was previously the Senior Salvage Officer for Tsavliris International (PTY) Ltd.

The company being a maritime provider and acting as a salvage responder to casualties, as well in the towage sector offers premium and valuable services to the marine insudtry. All of these years, a team of qualified individuals and experts in the field, along with specialized equipment have succeeded to successfully serve a wide range of clientele. Atlas Salvage & Towage S.A. is playing a key role in it’s fleet trading area by offering maritime premium services adapted to customers’ needs; by addressing to each operation in a unique manner.

Services :

Atlas’ main service is the towage-operation, in the Mediterranean, Black Sea, Red Sea, Persian Gulf, East Atlantic and North Sea. Additionally, the company can also provide firefighting, ship-to-shore and ship-to-ship services. Primary objective for the company is the high standard of services. It is worth also noting that all towage operations undertaken by Atlas have been approved by well-known and important surveyors such as Noble Denton and Bureau Vogtschmidt B.V.

Future goals & Objectives :

Atlas Salvage & Towage main goal is to invest on the continuous renewal of its fleet. The company aims to renew its fleet within the next years of operations. Fleet renewal is a concern of significant importance for the Shareholders, since Atlas is seeking to offer its’ services in a more convenient, efficient & effective manner via either brand-new or second hand young Ocean Going Tugs.
